Inauguration of Rupandehi Campus Health Desk.

On May 25, 2022, the Rupandehi Campus officially opened its Health Desk. The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Seshkant Bhandari, the Ward Chairman of Ward No. 9 in Siddharthanagar Municipality, who served as the chief guest.

In his address, Mr. Bhandari praised the initiative of the college in setting up a Health Desk, saying, “I am pleased to be here today to inaugurate this Health Desk. This is a vital step towards ensuring the well-being of the students and staff at this college. Regular health check-ups are essential for maintaining good health, and this desk will make it easier for everyone to access these services.”

Other guests included Dr. Lok Khanal from Dental Home, a multi-specialty dental clinic, who said “It is an honor to be here today, and I am glad to see the college taking such an important step towards promoting good health among its students and staff. Dental health is a crucial aspect of overall well-being, and I am happy to see that this Health Desk will be providing regular dental check-ups.”

Dr. Anita Shahi from Care Plus Diagnostic and Pathology, in her statement said “I am glad to be a part of this important initiative. This Health Desk will provide a great service to the college community by making it easy for students and staff to access diagnostic and pathology services. I am confident that this desk will help to detect and prevent many health issues.”

Dr. Sabhyata Grg from Dr. Sabhyata’s Skin, Hair, and Laser Centre, said “I am thrilled to be here today and to see the college taking such an important step towards promoting good health among its students and staff. The health desk will be providing regular check-ups, which is an essential aspect of overall well-being.”

The chief of Rupandehi Campus Health Desk, Dr. Namrata Chaudhary, highlighted the importance of providing regular health check-ups for all students and staff at the college. She said “I am grateful for the opportunity to lead this Health Desk, and I am committed to providing the best possible health services to the college community. I would like to thank all the guests for their presence and support, and I look forward to working together to promote good health among our students and staff.”

Campus Chief Laxman Gyawali closed the ceremony with a statement emphasizing the importance of maintaining good health and well-being for the college community. He said “I am proud to see this Health Desk officially open today. The well-being of our students and staff is of the utmost importance, and this desk will make it easier for everyone to access the health services they need. I would like to thank all the guests for their participation and support, and I look forward to seeing the positive impact this Health Desk will have on our college community.”
