Rupandehi Campus, with the support of the University Grants Commission, Nepal, successfully commenced the first day of its two-day seminar titled “Empowering Educators with Statistical Skills for Effective Teaching and Research.” This professional development initiative aims to equip faculty members with advanced statistical tools and methodologies essential for enhancing pedagogical effectiveness and research quality. The session featured in-depth presentations and practical insights from distinguished resource persons, Prof. Dr. Gitu Giri and Mr. Govind Jnawali, who expertly guided participants through key statistical concepts relevant to academic inquiry. The seminar is coordinated by Mr. Basanta Basnet, under the strategic leadership of Mr. Basanta Mani Pokharel, Coordinator of the Research Cell.
The day concluded with an engaging online quiz competition, designed to reinforce learning outcomes and foster interactive participation. We are pleased to congratulate Mr. Arbind Pathak for securing the top position in the quiz followed by Mr. Rangesh Wagle and Mr. Basanta Mani Pokharel. This seminar reflects Rupandehi Campus’s ongoing commitment to fostering research capacity and academic excellence among its educators. We anticipate that the second day will further enrich the participants’ competencies and contribute to a more robust research culture within the institution.
