Speech Competition on “The Need of Moral Education”
BHAIRAHAWA, 27th Magh, 2079
Rupandehi Campus organized a Speech Competition on the topic “The Need of Moral Education” under the Extracurricular Department, with eight students from the BBS and BEd programs of the campus participating in the competition. The event was held on 27th Magh, 2079 from 7.30 to 9.30 am.
The competition was judged by Dr. Namrata Chaudhary and Assistant Professor Suraj Ghimire. After a rigorous evaluation process, Ram Sharan Thakur secured the first position, followed by Rabina Kurmi and Dharmendra Tharu in second and third place, respectively.
Dr. Namrata Chaudhary praised the participants for their insightful and thought-provoking speeches, saying, “It was impressive to see the level of research and analysis put into each speech, and it was clear that all participants understood the importance of moral education.”
Assistant Professor Suraj Ghimire commended the Extracurricular Department for organizing such an event, saying, “The competition was an excellent opportunity for students to develop their communication and critical thinking skills and to articulate their thoughts effectively.”
Campus Chief Laxman Gyawali emphasized the importance of moral education in shaping an individual’s character and said, “I hope this competition inspires students to continue promoting the values of morality in society.”
Special Guest Extracurricular Coordinator Assistant Professor Lila Poudel added, “The competition was a great success, and we are proud of the efforts put in by the participants and the organizers. We hope to continue such events in the future.”
The winners expressed their delight and gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the competition. Ram Sharan Thakur, the winner of the competition, said, “I am honored to receive this recognition, and I hope to continue to promote the importance of moral education in the future.”
The competition concluded on a positive note, with MC Assistant Professor Basant Basnet, participants and attendees appreciating the efforts of the Extracurricular Department in organizing such an event.
